We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver in GLASTONBURY, CT to provide essential support and assistance to people in need. As a Caregiver, you will play an important role in improving the quality of life for our clients by offering personal care, companionship, and help with daily activities. Your commitment to providing exceptional care will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve.

TIMETABLE
- Sunday & Monday 9am - 5pm

-Tuesday - Thursday & Friday 8:30 - 4:30 pm

Client needs to be transported to appointments (car required).

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and bathroom use.
  • Prepare and cook meals for the client.
  • Observe and report changes in the client's conditions or behaviors to the appropriate health professionals.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to customers, fostering a positive environment.
  • Assist clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations in all aspects of care.
  • Provide specialized care for people with dementia or developmental disabilities when needed.
Requirements

  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • CPR certification is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in dementia care techniques and patient observation skills are beneficial.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Ability to prepare nutritious meals considering dietary restrictions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with customers.
  • Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
  • You must be able to pass background checks required by state regulations.
Compensation: $16.75 per hour
