We are looking for a compassionate and responsible caregiver of older adults to provide care and support to a client in East Hartford, CT.
The work schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, adding up to a total of 40 hours per week.
You DO NOT need transportation
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account any special diets.
- Assist with client mobility within the home and during daily activities.
- Resume taking medications as directed by your doctor.
- Monitor and report changes in customer health.
- Provide companionship and engage in conversations and recreational activities.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for the well-being of the client.
- Perform light household chores, such as cleaning and organizing the home.
- Assist with laundry and maintenance of the client's clothes.
- Maintain regular communication with agency staff.
- Document all daily activities and any incidents that occur.
- Report any additional customer concerns or needs.
Compensation: $16.69 per hour
