Abstract of the Work:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to provide care and assistance to older adults in their home for periods of 3 or 4 consecutive days. The caregiver will live in the client's home during their shift, providing ongoing care and ensuring their well-being.
Timetable
1) Sunday-Monday-Tuesday and/or Wednesday
2) Wednesday-Thursday-Friday-Saturday
Main Responsibilities:
- Help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. If you need
- Assist with meal preparation and service, including special diets if needed.
- Help with mobility and recommended exercises.
Basic Medical Care:
- Remember to take medications as directed
Emotional and Social Support:
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Participate in recreational and social activities to improve the client's quality of life.
- Promote the client's independence and self-esteem.
Household Chores:
- Keeping the home clean and tidy, including light cleaning and laundry.
- Grocery shopping and other necessities.
- Assist with managing medical appointments and other obligations outside the home
Communication:
- Document and report any changes in the client's health or behavior.
- Complete daily logs and incident reports as needed.
Compensation: $192.20 per day
